When you participate, it's important to mention Drawing Day.
Drawing on Drawing Day is only part of the big picture. Sharing your drawings with the world is what it's all about - let's make some noise! The following art communities offer some of the best ways you can draw or upload drawings on Drawing Day
On Drawing Day create drawings either in your favorite graphics software or draw on paper and scan.
Then upload diviations to DeviantArt in either of these categories:
- Digital Art > Drawings
- Traditional Art > Drawings
Make sure: You place a description saying "Created for Drawing Day - www.drawingday.org"

About DeviantArt
DeviantArt is one of the most active online art communities on the web. Although DA has not announced a Drawing Day event, members are planning on participating by uploading drawings on Drawing Day.
On Drawing Day, record videos of you drawing on paper or take video screen captures of you drawing on any graphic software such as Photoshop. Then upload to YouTube.
Tip: Upload your video with the title and tags "Drawing Day 2009" to appear in related videos of other Drawing Day videos

Although YouTube is not a dedicated art community - many artists have had great success using it as a way to promote their art online. Many artists have gained a huge following by recording themselves creating art and sharing it with the world.
RateMyDrawings will be hosting an online Drawing Day competition on their website. Visit RateMyDrawings and look for the Drawing Day logo. Simply use the online drawing tools and create drawings through your browser. Enter the RMD competitions for a chance to win prizes on Drawing Day.
